Ceramic Industry manufactures useful and ornamental articles from clay by shaping and hardening them at high temperatures. The industry is basically a development of indigenous pottery works. Broadly, ceramics denote the manufacture of any product made from a non-metallic mineral hardened at high temperatures. Industrial ceramics comprise all industrially used solid materials that are neither metallic nor organic. Major ceramic products include glass, earthenware, porcelain, and white-ware, porcelain enamels, brick tiles and terracotta, refractories, cement, lime, and gypsum.
Mission and Vision
In our Samca Floor, Samca Wall, Vitro, Pegasus, Gryphon, and Centaurus tile factories, we’re able to manufacture a combination of pressed and extruded tiles in various sizes, textures, and finishes. The Betta Bathroomware factory produces a wide range of vitreous china bathroomware, with a focus on water closets, basins, cisterns, and pedestals. Our bath factory manufactures a comprehensive range of baths and shower trays from acrylic, catering for all sectors of our local and European markets.
